Plant C: Dropwort (filipendula hexapetula 'kakome')

PARTIAL SHADE

A dwarf mounding periennial. Great plant in front of borders, also excellent planted in moist sites, along streams, or in bog gardens. Fine frothy rosy flowers bloom above pale green, divided foliage. Blooms mid to late summer. 8"-12" tall. Does well in average soilprovide ample water. Dormant in water.

Well, I don't understand the "dormant in water part", but the bog area is right next to the fountain (the over-splash area) and will remain lightly misted all summer.
