Welcome to our trip to the "Big Easy"

Day -1: October 1, 1999.

After work, Craig and I picked up the (almost brand-new) year-2000 Grand Am from Enterprise and packed the last of our provisions. We went to bed early (actually around 8) so that we could wake up and get on the road to Louisiana by 3 am.

Day 1: October 2, 1999: Drove to Louisiana. Days Inn. French Quarter. Ralph & Kacoo's. Walking voodoo tour.

Day 2: October 3, 1999: Swamp Tour. Schnells.

Day 3: October 4, 1999: Aquarium of the Americas. Bubba Gump's. Boomtown Casino.

Day 4: October 5, 1999: Cajun Queen to historic war site. Top of the Market. Ferry. Mardi Gras World.

Day 5: October 6, 1999: Swamp canoo rental. Emeril's.

Day 6: October 7, 1999: IMAX. French Market. Boomtown Casino.

Day 7: October 8, 1999: Rain. Bought souvenirs. Slept Early.

Day 8: October 9, 1999: The long drive home.

Day 9: October 10, 1999: Returned the Grand Am to Enterprise.
